Go Trumph. Then let's see if Walmart can hire (buy) anyone in IT that'll be loyal. I very well doubt it. What comes around goes around.

Karma is a B----!

28 years and counting- down.

If I may add to this. Let us be real: this is America and priority for jobs should go to Americans them to people outside the country using H1b1. I was not born in the us but I do believe the government should take of their own people first. If the skill is not available then get it from anywhere in the world. Walmart does abuse it because users of this visa are payed less than the us labor.

Folks very interesting conversation - H1B really ... Let's look at little bigger picture for overall Economy. If folks in America don't want Asian folks (including My Fav Trump too, he is daring and dashing personality and respect him from deep inside my heart ) then it's a valid point only after withdrawing all operations and Goods and services like FB, Google,Apple, GE, GM, WM.... and many many more from those Asian countries and try not selling the point of GLOBAL in only one way.

Comment about Indian house wives, yes you are correct they waited 5 to 10 years but didn't go the route of working illegally for their Benifits and invested close to 50k for enriching their knowledge by attending Colleges.

But again I am being silly to respond for this message and got much much better things to enrich.

We Asians came to America with Legal work visas and now most of us still look like Asians but currently Citizens and working proudly serving Americia with Walmart at this point of time.

-- From Proud worker and hopefully we all will collaborate with full respect to each other irrespective of the Origination and blend as Global workforce. But yes refinement and limit of infusion need to be controlled.... Yes Trump my friend needs to be aware of my lil article.

It is one thing to be proud of your heritage. It is quite another to put the interests of your old ancestry homeland above the nen iw. Mathew 6:24 teaches that no one can serve two masters.

You need to show gratitude for the luck

Your ancestors experienced in being allowed to settle in the USA and abandon those old customs that are not generally in Line with American culture. There is a multitude of people teeming at the borders who wish they could be rescued by Lady Liberty as were your Asian immigrants

We need a campaign to the President against Walmart ISD keeping Indians on H1B on jobs and firing American workers. Let us take a list of all the folks who lost jobs last 1 week and compare to see how many citizens lost jobs and how many H1Bs are still kept theirs

“Every American who has ever lived, with the exception of one group, was either an immigrant himself or a descendant of immigrants” - JFK

Only difference between is you or your forefathers might have arrived earlier than me. It doesn't make me any less American (yes, I am a born Citizen too) or any less prouder of my Indian origin. God bless you and your family.

Those are typical knee-jerk responses and childish fixation ion IQ foolishless

The ladies depicted in the "Hidden Figures" movie are Americans, not Indians. This demonstrates that the job you emigrated here to perform can be just as easily handled by a US citizen. You are likely not so brilliant as to warrant special favors over our own citizens or to justify your arrogance

It does show your upbringing and IQ level. Proud to be an Indian and part of US economy. Stop whining, complaining and face the truth that you are good for nothing and more qualified people than you will take your job eventually. Go watch Hidden Figures for a historical evidence. God bless America.

If the flow of jobs between America and India was bi- directional then the criticism of foreign nationals against Americans and making a racism charge might be fair. But all evidence shows it to be a one way street. India gets all the benefits and Americans get the shaft. These jobs are not so demanding that many Americans cannot adequately compete. That is a falsehood spread by foreign Special interests groups.

It is not America's fault that the Indian economy fails so miserably in taking care of its own citizens. Only Indians themselves can weed out curruption of the government and old habits that hold the country back

There are some shameless IT firms that took advantage of H1B and they must be stopped. It is as good as how Trump used taxation loopholes (in his own words) that must be fixed. Generalizing an entire community which contributes to local economy is not right. We pay taxes like everyone else and doesn't even get the employment benefits. Cast system in India is as disgusting as racism in US. Every country has right to protect its own interest, no doubt. However, no one have any right to disrespect another human being or an entire community. Jai Hind

Competing for these global commodity jobs are not the problem. The problem is that the h1-b system is completely rigged In favor of the big Indian IT firms who overwhelm the country with lobbyists. Racism is a silly argument in this case. It is normal and fitting that America protect its own interests instead of India's or anyone else. I mean from what I have researched about the Indian economy, the country vigorously pursues every advantage it can to protect its own interests against other nations. The odious cast system is so disgusting as well

Racist are everywhere. If you have qualification, caliber and guts in your a-- (gaand mein dum) then compete instead of whining.

In response to the "Trump" comments...it may sound like the typical "they took our jobs" complaint but unfortunately it is true. Go through the directory and look at some of the last names...if you have fewer than 6 vowels in your last name your probably not going to get hired.

The American consumer has the power to show their dissatisfaction with Walmart tactics of abusing

H1-b visas and outsourcing so many jobs to other nations, particularly India. , while pretending qualified Americans cannot be found. They can refuse to patronize rhe business

Walmart revenues in the USA is derived largely from American Consumers. When it outsources work to India or abuse H1-b visas by using the foreigners to replace qualified Americans and pretend it is because no American can be found , or their work is below par, that is really outrageous. And the American consumers need to petitition the government to stop it, or better yet, refuse to patronize the abusing

businesses

If calling out the factual workplace demographic is being trump like, then cal me mr. Trump.

Cold hard facts are that walmart has abused h1b visas like crazy.

Not indians fault, they want to provide for their families, i blame walmart for their hypocritical b---s---. On one hand Walmart fridges about hiring veterans and empowering American manufacturing, all well replacing their american-based Workforce with largely foreign workers

Only in America can you have a workplace that is 90% Indian and still constantly promote "diversity".

There are few Americans left there, and the trend continues.

Why they even hand out Sam's book, "Made in America" is beyond me. There is absolutely nothing American about this company.

Blame the government then for allowing all the H1-B Visas. Blame the companies for using the H1-B program to their advantage. Call out those companies who don't want to pay American wages or whine that they don't have the people in-country with the needed skills. The skills are here. The people wanting to work are here. Companies have shifted their priorities to their shareholders and not the employee. Even the customer has taken a backseat to the shareholder.

The contractors need to pay bills just like the rest of us. So I don't blame them. I put the blame where it should be - on the corporations who are traitors to America and the American worker.

Agreed. People doing nothing but meeting, reporting data no one looks at, directing people that don't need directions. We used to work. It's sick how fat the place has gotten. It's not old timers that are s---ing the well dry. Hiring just to hire. It's stupid.

For every one person coding, there are 15 people managing. Status update meetings usually consist of 2 or 3 technical people telling 15 scrum masters, BAs, PMs, and QAs what to type in for their notes so they can tell us what we told them.

It makes sense to layoff. Walmart ISD is the incubation ground of many "leads", "managers" and "business analysts" whose best qualification is that they are the husband or wife or a desi ISD employee. 90% of them cannot get a job outside ISD, precisely because they cannot even get through one round of interview. I'm glad this is happening
