New trainings expected to be done on weekends without pay

This past week several teams in HAH were notified of training that needed to be completed by 2/28/17. The training is very time consuming. When I approached my leader about the training and metric expectations they encouraged me to "get creative" as how to complete my trainings and still meet numbers. I saved and IM from her suggesting I take time to complete the trainings over the weekend and "not worry about logging in". So I am expected to complete trainings and not get paid? I am going to send this info to local media and see what happens.

Be extremely careful of HR. You may be able to be "anonymous" but they ask you your name and verify other information in the beginning. Coaches don't have many associates (now they have more) so if there is a specific complaint, HR does go back to the coach for "their side" of the story. The coaches will be able to tell who you are by the HR discussion even if it is "anonymous" so if you want to keep your job, don't bother instigating anything until you are nearly out the door. I was mentoring a new associate a couple years ago who reported an issue to HR about something the coach told her to do and she was written up for no reason the next day. Ended up leaving before her 90 days was up. HR is supposed to be a neutral medium for both parties but nearly always protects the associate the company wants to keep.

HR reported everything a fellow Hcm was reporting to them , back to her coach , unknown to her at the time ....several months later she was fired .

Sadly, HR is not to protect us, but to protect the employer.

Send e-mail to HR they will not tolerate that. Call them and don't be scared. It's their job to make sure labor laws are being followed and that is very illegal. That person should not be a leader of anyone EVER. We need to get people like that out so expectations can be realistic and we don't end up like Wells Fargo.

My coach and COM have been very adamant that since we are salary there is no expectations of a 40 hour week, and basically say "work until you hit the metrics no matter what." Our team aux report shows that no one takes wellness, and breaks and lunch are very rarely taken at all. Less than 1/4th of the team take it at all even part of the time. The metrics are a joke, everyone MUST meet or exceed peer average, but the harder you work to do that the higher the average just goes up. That's an impossible standard, and apparently no one in upper management understands basic math or they would understand how averages work.

They will always recruit people with the WAH promise. Little do new hires/potential hires realize that instead you will be chained to your computer and headset with every moment watched and scrutinized. We are telemarketers promising an unrealistic outcome of assistance to sick, elderly members. Corporate could care less about a "success story" where you really helped someone , they want to know why you didn't "reach" 5 more that day.

We are on the AD and only have 25 minutes a day to do trainings, read emails or anything else..it is not enough time. If you are an hourly employee it is against the law for you to work more than 40 hours in a week and NOT get paid!! I know a few people who applied for internal jobs at Humana at LESS pay and were still turned down for the jobs....it's like we have a big "I" on our foreheads for "Impacted"...counting the days until I can leave.

Hopefully the media reaches out..the ones laid off are struggling to find jobs! Internal is a waste of time. My coach was a straight up liar. It is all about first place and competing. You complete your trainings on the weekend to show your team is on it with no problems! Our coach wants us to be all at platinum. She is crazy. My friend has severence. He wants to go to media but knows he can't with the severence contract. He messaged his former coach about time sheets and there was no more friendly manner in her messages.. you are a done deal and let go...

I can't stress this enough, you don't have to work OT and can't be made too. We allow ourselves to be bullied into it.

My attorney looked at me like I was crazy when I told him how much OT I put in. I'm glad he's a dbtbustr and is close to Clearwater. He's been so helpful to me. I'm glad I found him dbtbustr online. I just wish he could provide more advice for anyone with questions because I see so many people working OT.

Obtaining multiple state licenses is also to be done on our own. It is very time consuming to fill out applications, request various documentation such as transcripts or employer verification, and complete CEUs for each state. This is all to be done "off the clock" unless in the first non-call hour. I guess I see this as one more way to break us down by making impossible demands and refusing to compensate us for the additional hours required to meet them.

What coach said don't clock in in for training on weekends?!!!!

Why don't they want to know how much time testing takes?

Uh, because it's upsets their rah rah rah manager meetings. And the the All A--. Meetings!

Ooops, I meant all Associate meetings, lol!
