The whole scam was enrolling people including veterans who were not screened properly and were not ready for higher education. So many enrollments didn't have the skills to be successful in this online environment. When they started laying off advisers, there were not enough advisers to do the 'hand-holding' that was done to get enrollments through classes much less graduation. So many veterans still active duty, would be taking classes and then be called up for training or deployment making them ineligible for scholarships offered or giving them out of pockets for incomplete courses or not meeting grade requirements set by military. UOP had so many 'scholarships', enrollments specials (MOUs), discounts, blah, blah, blah, that advisers could not track effectively with large case loads. Then they changed the class availability schedules, so if a veteran had to re-schedule they couldn't find a class for more than 4 to 6 weeks later, extending programs and messing with VA fiscal year fundings...this place should be shut down or sold for parts.

All these types of schools prey on the veterans because it's easy money for the schools. They hire veterans as admission reps, pay them huge salaries to go out and sign up as many veterans as they can. Have you noticed that all career schools have separate admission teams assigned just to recruit veterans? These recruiters are paid a substantially higher salary than the other recruiters to go out and prey on the veterans.

I'm willing to tell them everything. It's a shame how we drain every penny we can from the VA. Our veterans don't deserve to be preyed upon like they are.
