Several weeks ago a co-worker and I were told by our supervisor that there was a strong possibility that there would be layoffs early in 2017 at the corporate office. The thing that got me was that he said that one of the criteria would be age. I pointedly asked him about age being a factor and he said it again. This has me very worried since I am an older worker. Don't know really where to take this.

That would be considered age discrimination. Would they risk a lawsuit?
