For those affected, how many days do we have left? I've heard some say 30, some say 60. Is it possible they just tell us to leave and it's instant?

@bty are you saying that it will be their last day so if they would vest soon they will not be vested now? Even though they'll be on the payroll for 30ish days?
Impacted employees' last day will be tomorrow, But they will pay you through a certain date depending on your state. Here, it's 30 days.
In recent wireline, those off payroll at end of 2016 got ~ 60 days, those told in Feb 2017 got just under 30. Don't know if the difference was due to holidays (bad publicity to layoff before Christmas) or because of numbers requiring WARN notices or something else
Last cut in November, I was an ES I got less than 30 days notice...Got told October 8 and our last day was November 4.

I got 60 days - only went back to the office to return company property and say my goodbyes....
When I was RIF'd in 2015 I got 60 days, but I was basically told not to bother coming back.
I had to stay for 30 days they would of been better off letting me leave.
So they will ask us to leave and not come back tomorrow? Wow... I figured they'd let us go home and then we'd work the final 30 or 60 days. But to not even have a job on Friday....
What about those that would vest in the next 30 days? They won't make it?
You will probably be asked to leave immediately. As for how long on payroll, it depends on what state. California is 60 days.
