You may know that the IBEW recently filed a petition to represent our field service technicians and warehouse employees at our Newark, NJ depot. The vote was held today.
We are pleased to report that our employees in the Newark depot voted AGAINST REPRESENTATION BY THE IBEW in that election conducted by the National Labor Relations Board.
By voting NO to the IBEW, our employees decided to maintain their direct relationship with their management and leadership teams. And they showed the union that they understand that the investments we are making in our network is really an investment in each of you and all of our futures.
We thank each and every one of our employees for listening, understanding the facts provided to them, and for gaining insight into our vision for Altice Technical Services and Generation Gigaspeed.
As in similar organizing attempts by unions in our other depots, our Newark employees have now spoken. Our employees understand that the Altice Technical Services’ vision provides an opportunity for a future that no union, particularly the IBEW can deliver.
Our message to all of you remains the same. Together we are going to become the best connectivity company in the USA! I and the rest of the management team remain committed to keeping you informed and updated in our progress. Our plan is to continue to visit our sites and meet with each of you. I look forward to speaking with you soon.
Warmest Regards,
