Thread regarding CDK Global Inc. layoffs

I heard a rumor about 2 separate 'off the floor" and "hotel bar" conversations at NADA or NAMUG with reps from 2 of CDK's top 10 customers. It seems as if these customers are concerned about CDK's direction and were asking questions and expressing concern. I was told there is concern that this shareholder group is pushing changes that will make it more expensive, while cost-cutting resulting in reducing quality of our products (duh) and support. Another concern apparently is the loss of certain employees that worked with and supported these customers through layoffs, or forced attrition. There are some valued relationships that are gone now and it is going to hurt CDK. The message from one was that they are going to carefully evaluate future business with CDK, and might look more closely at competitors who aren't so focused on cost-cutting. Underlying theme is these customers do not feel as valued as before. Either way, it was only a matter of time before customers caught on to the changes happening under McDonald.

The CEO does not care about customers his employees or the product. All he cares about is to how to get the stock price to $80 and then cash out. So you all would be stupid to think about company..these types of CEO are what we can call modern day con man. Their salary is rigged so high with stocks and thus they work to get the stocks higher......been like this since late 90s...
