A director at OR Consulting who failed Latam Rom project (after 1 year of free work) is still with the company. Sabre must spot people who fail projects and let them go. In this environment, directors who ruin deals are not good assets to keep.

An executive can cause lot more damage to the company than a manager or director. And it has definitely proved to be the case with the external talent at Sabre.
Take for example DK who drove the P&T organization into the pits. The company is losing customers and credibility due to the frequent outages. Also poor leadership and friends being hired has led to a total loss of morale in the P&T group and after 4 years we are worse than we were 4 years ago. Who is responsible for this ?
While the P&T organization was being driven into the pit, the executive DK was cashing in options regularly making millions in the process
That's not the case in all of them. The people who worked in Copa are almost all gone. The project director was fired about a month after Copa cancelled.
