Anybody know any rumors about what is happening to the CAD team at Oracle? Will they get acquired? I would think the CAD team would be the most sellable part of the SPARC processor group. Maybe Ansys or something could buy them to compet better with Synopsys and Cadence. From my own personal experience in it a while ago the whole management from the VP RM down to the first level managers are totally corrupt. They encourage code copying between different teams and sabotaging other teams code ( why, it makes no logical sense) and other totally unethical stuff and HR back them up. Also entire teams like JC's are composed of H1B hires from China without even pretending like they are doing fair hiring practices.
Th actual engineers are pretty smart and nice, but man is the management a bunch of bafoons!
