It's sad, but we are now the joke of Silicon Valley and the tech world in general. There was a time (pre-Carly), in which this Company was not only respected, but admired. This was the Company everyone wanted to work for back then... Bill & Dave, I'm really sorry your Company has been turned into what it is today... Terribly sorry...

Please do not insult former and current HP and HPE employees. Many of us possess the best professional and personal qualities that prevent the company from scuttling.
Once upon a time (we were eating trilobites for breakfast, it was that long ago), I lived in the Colorado Springs area. HP was a fairly big presence at the time. THEY WERE WIDELY KNOWN TO NEVER HAVE LAYOFFS!!!! Be a total flop at work (show up drunk all the time, hardly ever show up, get in fights) would, I imagine, get you fired, even in those days. But HP had famously rock-solid job security, then and there...
Can you imagine?!?!
Having HP on your CV still has some kudos. Going to take advantage of that while it lasts. The brand will be gone altogether before long.
