Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Unemployment for the Transitionals (CSA V)?

So I'm sure there's many people wondering, as am I... What is the eligibility of the CSA V after the final layoff happens? I'm sure corporate is coming up with some master scheme to fire as many as possible on performance, attendance, some hoopla bull sh-- reasons so we will not qualify per state standards. This is a $561,600,000 if all 15,000 transitional employees are laid off. I'm curious how Lowes is to present this to the news outlets if anyone catches wind? They've laid off 3,000 ASMs, will possibly lay off 15,000 prior DMs, 550 people in Corporate, will possibly lay off another 20,000 people between the HR, Installs, and other Specialist positions that need to be dissolved. That's nearly 10% of the company, equal to closing down 250 stores of employees. This was a good way for them to hide such a HUGE downsizing that's for sure. Anyways, back to unemployment - anyone know? Thanks!

Lowes lives dont matter

It should be illegal for what they are doing.

I was laid off and still no information on a severance package.

Now they are coming up with HR reasons just to fire people

Lowes ceo and board full of greed and corrupt lies

I doubt very seriously if Lowe's legal consultants would not research and aid Lowe's in the matter of these layoffs. CSA 5s were given a year at regular pay to find a job. My sense is there isn't a state in the country that would consider unemployment benefits for people who had a year to find a job being paid more for a job that on paper, requires less responsibility. Not sure but would find it highly unlikely that this base was not covered in the first place and before all was implemented.

You can collect unemployment no matter what. They can not stop it. Your position is being eliminated. They did it this way not to pay severance. Because you still have a job and enough warning. They skewed the numbers on the layoffs to look better but even Depot is laughing at us. They are not laying off.
