Layoffs took place in Jan and Feb of this year. 2017 will be a tough year, as we are expecting that more layoffs will take place.

They should be. It will come out of the clear blue. Employees are just numbers, and disposable.
I hear rumors that the next wave might hit in Q3 and that it may be ugly. Cannot back this up with hard data or insider info, so take it with a grain of salt. Nonetheless, you can feel that there is a ton of anxiety around, people are worried.
