Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

I am a receving Associated for Sam's Club if you are planning to eliminate my ocfice position it would be nics if you let us know now so would not have to hear this from everyone else. Also who would want to run a Department by Their self and have to vacations. What if this person have an emergency and call out for days or get sick. I have done all of this many of times not enjoyable at all. Sam's use to be a Fun place to Work not anymore all you talk about is Sales and Money!

Without oversight in the Cash office what will stop theft of reconcile simple mistakes?

supposedly approximately 5k is to be saved each yr in cashier count down time. don’t see it myself then adding the lack of personnel in the acct office saves money. this is the focus . a lot of laughing and i told you so when each month the p@l comes out and the idiots wonder where the money went. little to no research will get done. the bigger the club the more the problems. i’ve heard the gm s are all for it, they see bigger bonuses more money put on the bottom line for them. hope it will be a big a-- bite for each one thinking that

Can someone just put a list out there of what jobs are being cut and when so everyone can stop walking on eggshells

Is Sam's Club going to get rid of Fulltime COS or get rid of the position. If so when will the changes take place.

This is awful and they way this company is doing it . I have been a deciated 20 year a Team lead Accounting Associate and to do this right before the Holidays. This company is going to hell it wont be long before It does. They can't even keep the Big Wigs every time u turn around u here of a new one coming. I have helped them with discover so many investigations and dishonest associates u think a freaky machine is going to do all this I hope they rob u blind .. take everything u think u r saving the knowledge I have a freaking machine could never ever compare !!! You are losing Sam's and I hope u realize what morons u have over operations that think they know it but really have no freaking clue ...

I have worked for this company 32 years. I would have so much more respect if they would be open. I was already eliminated once in 1996 at Walmart, now again I heat it is coming. Guess this time I will learn my lesson?
