Yikes. That stung more than expected. It took years to get there and less than one month for Enbridge to take it all the way. When they give us our 10% pay cut next year, they'll be erasing four years of merit increases. I guess I should be happy to have a job...but instead I'm jealous of those who got laid off last week. At least they got paid to leave. Now I'm going to leave for free. Must be their plan, to push us to leave on our own so they don't have to pay severance. More executive bonuses.

My group was told specifically no more across the board payoffs. No salary cuts either. It was noted there could be pockets of reductions based on efficiency gains.
