Layoffs across Bank Solutions Group on 03/30/17. Some people near retirement age who were with company for decades.
Continuing layoffs. Staggered over a few weeks as individual divisions work independently to identify who to let go. Confirmed to be across Fiserv, not limited to a product suite or division. US-only, so far.
Fiserv is where your career will die. once you are 50 plus years old they will cut you loose with time.
The layoffs at Fiserv are continuing.
After working for 1 1/2 years as a contract employee, and then 19 years as a "permament" employee for BISYS/Open Solutions/Fiserv, I was laid-off by Fierv yesterday, 06/01/2017.
I cannot say I was surprised - I had spent the last seven months doing nothing but training, mostly self-guided/self-paced training while waiting for my sign-in access and an assignment - after having been transferred to work on their Precision product after having worked on the TotalPlus product for all those years prior. It is obvious now they had no clear plan for using my skills and knowledge.

All these layoffs, and yet the board and CEO asks for pay raises all around! Talk about "doing the right thing.."
Anybody who goes to work for these guys is on a career suicide mission. They will lie to you for their own benefit. Layoffs seem to be centered on the bottom line.they will tell your customers that you left the company.anybody over 50 any you are toast.they do not give a rats a-- about their employees.
It seems like employment with Fiserv is day to day. This is crazy.
I will be laying off alot more this year!!
