You guys speak about how it's bad for the management who got let go, it's bad for their families. But yet some of these management were the ones hiding trying to catch you or don't know anything about the job but are telling you that you're doing it wrong. And the fear of losing your job didn't start with Harrison. It was worse with Ingram. The man who said every railroader should be fired at least once. And no one REALLY knows what his plan is. Now I'm not stupid and you can check his track record......he does make cuts and will make himself and the stock holders a lot of money and then he will leave. I just find it ironic that people on here complaining about management getting let go when they were the ones trying to fire you when they were here.

Csx management is getting what they deserve. Falsly charging employees and firing them to make quota, i shed no tear. I hope the management cuts run so deep there is only 1 tm per 100 mi of track
First I want to say I am a retired manager. Guys look around and see which managers lost their jobs. Yes there was some dumb--ses that lost there jobs and should have before now. But from what I have saw in the area I was a manager on 2 different Divisions Huntington and Florence,the guys that tried to take care of their people are the ones loosing their jobs, not the weed monkeys they are still there. Think about it and I agree Sanborn should have been the first to go if all operating plans were wrong and needed to be changed then why keep her sorry a--.
The cuts are getting deeper though. Roadforemans are done, yards are closing, etc. Nashville Division just lost 3 top managers and more are dropping like flies... In the hundreds across the system. There's gonna be a lot of changes over the next month for sure, and then beyond.
Ingram was bad, Harrison will evolve and become worse. My fear only, but we'll see what's gonna happen, many heads will fly, that's for sure. I am sure we'll be spending a ton of time here on layoffs.com in future, 2017, 2018, 2019... And at some point, Cerberus will s--- out all the value that's left and will move on.

The majority of management that were fired were in JAX. They weren't the ones hiding in the weeds. There was a lot of dead weight in the HQ building.
