just stumbled upon this. the 'getc' team is no use to dxc in todays world, its all part of initial transition of any delivery/service. these scumbags just keep milking others cows because nobody has noticed till now.
GETC team, PORTAL and REPORTING team, EVENT AUTOMATION team and Server Backup support teams are 5 redundant teams doing nothing, JUST SITTING AND PRETENDING TO BE WORKING.
The backup team does not know how to take a backup. They need an L3 to configure a backup task. The only double click it and confirm it is complete. Most managers in DXC got promoted from the backup team.
GETC = Get Choot
It's high time to remove this team in India...they really don't do anything

None of the legacy HP/HPE tools work on current flavors of UNIX/LINUX.
In case of Windows, almost all customers have moved to Service NOW for ticketing and Microsoft SCOM for event monitoring. However, the GETC staff is busier than ever arranging self sponsored team lunches to please the management.
What a set of hypocrite and scumbags, no ethics and no values.

Recently they changed the name before merging with CSC.."Design something"..Big team in India...They just do copy-paste and nothing else..

Basically GETC is like Get-Customer, they are the gatekeepers, and will do whatever they feel. If they want they block all business to the company ??? thats exactly what looks like happening , now company in this situation.
my suggestion is remove this GETC team especially who are not working or not coming to office. most of GETC are women who are working by staying home because of kids or because they are availing maternity leave.
"We design complex solution based on customer requirement." .. why dont you design simple solutions ??? beats me .. its all self praise and no output at all. Not seen this role in other IT companies
We design complex solution based on customer requirement. A solution which is customisable and scalable. Not sure who else can do this right now.
But GETC India is doing nothing... It's the people who are in other geography

I worked with GETC India as a project manager from PMO team...the project is completed but I still dont understand what they do...DXC should do something seriously..
GETC is the first team part of WFR. REVERSE counting started in India...
DX-C name coined by GET-C team to preserve their avatar.
They do nothing...absolutely nothing. This is the division DXC should scrap now immidiatly without any second thoughts.

Basically the guys that come up with the solutions using the crap building blocks Portfolio has decided we are selling this week, and then spend the rest of their time figuring out just how Delivery screwed up deploying it so that Operations can complain about it for the next few years.
