As usual Honeywell is following two steps behind. Only this time, they won't have a cash cow to milk anymore.
I guess that becoming a software industrial company captures the flight from hardware perfectly. Seems late, and odd, for Honeywell to pursue this strategy. The companies they aspire to emulate - Facebook and Amazon to name two, are now exploring hardware.
