When you lay off the ppl who built & manage them, poorly manage the remainder until they leave on their own, run a rudderless IT shop, and have remote-working senior managers (from all over God's green earth)deciding who stays or goes, who is left to keep the sinking ship afloat? Does anyone even care or are we all just waiting for the breakup?

Wilton needs its mayor!
Trading and critical financial systems went down for almost a day. Of course, they did, the support staff in Wilton were just asked to either move down to the Carolinas or get laid off. Insult to injury: many of these support staff had already made a torturous move to pricey Connecticut three years ago, now they are being asked to move yet again.
Support staff are not happy. Cushy level 25s and 26s get to stay in tony Connecticut towns and work in Wilton while worker bees get moved down to KKK country. Not a great deal for a brown guy.
With that context, is anyone actually surprised support staff have stopped putting heart into their work?
