Thread regarding ConAgra Foods Inc. layoffs

ConAgra buying Pinnacle Foods

According to news reports ConAgra is looking at purchasing Pinnacle foods in an panicked attempt to boost falling sales that are now firmly in negative territory.

This is sure to result in significant headcount reduction ( a polite way of saying get lost) in Omaha and across the entire company.

The fun and games are just starting under our illustrious Head crapweasle, Sean CONnolly.

Leave now while you can understand your own terms.

The talks fell apart when they couldn't agree on an appropriate price for Pinnacle Foods according to news reports.

Maybe Pinnacle, knowing how desperate Sean CONnolly is right now to improve sakes, tried to squeeze more money out of him.

At least Sean was smart enough not to fall into that trap like Rodkin did.

ConAgra, however, is still circling the drain.

And Sean will pay to way much for Pinnacle Foods, have transition problems, and basically screw the whole thing up.

Shades of Rodkin!

We can only hope the Board of Directors fire his a-- before he totally destroys ConAgra.

But I doubt it.

I give it 2 more years before he sells the company out from under our feet.

At least cleaning his office out will not require him to ship the stuff very far to his Chicago home.

Perhaps not. But the rumors appear to be pretty solid.
