Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

No pay rise in 7 years and small bonuses under the previous lot

Under HP the employer-funded coffee machines were quietly removed from service when they broke down and no cost center would fund the repairs. Also snack food vending machines appeared in the office soon afterwards along with charity chocolate sellers.

The monthly consumption reports are laughable but the consumption of IT services are actually charged to your cost center! Occasionally there will be meals funded by "employee morale" (an oxymoron?) which is a reason code on credit card receipting.

No pay rise in 7 years and small bonuses under the previous lot. Will it be any better in the future?

HR started to find fault with the employment, new hire less than 1 year.

If found dispute, like fake certification, wrong information, and etc will subject to immediate termination.

in india .. with 10-12% inflation rate of essential commodities and rock bottom salary, nobody is going to stick with DXC for a carrot in front of their nose and another up their backside

if there is no payhike this year, no techie will stick around with DXC.. in last 3 years only managers backside cleaners got hikes now they are rethinking if their jobs will last

all non-technical roles should be removed to revive the half-dead DXC

in india most women come to find suitable grooms from the IT sector.. no output from them.. but nobody can openly say that ... once they are married they avail maternity leave for their 2-3 kids .. which has recently been increased from 12 weeks to 26 weeks per delivery.. work from home 2-3 years and leave the job to be full time house wives.

As long as the executives continue to be more interested in putting money in their own pockets instead of producing a product someone wants to buy, this company will continue to spiral downward until there's nothing left. No investment in infrastructure, no investment in their employees, and a sad con artist salesman running the show.

No, Virginia, Santa Clause does not exist and never has and never will. If you desire recognition and a reasonable monitory recognition of that , I would not expect anything from this company . No raise as cost of living increases . If a company truly wants respect, admiration and therefore future business , why wouldn't they treat their staff reasonably . If I go to any commercial venue and am treated poorly , I don't come back and I leave with my money. I also leave thinking , "what is it like to work there?" , and shiver . Same here . We have been ignoring what the clients are saying until it hurts us in the pocket book . DXC will never learn . You can tell it to them point blank and they just wont get it . They never will . when the door finally closes, as it did with Enron , .... remember ENRON , they will attempt to spin the outcome in their favor . Just my opinion after working close to 10 years with no raise .

I actually never got any pay raise since I was outsourced to HP. 13 years, good ranking, job that always increased in responsibility - good reviews - even got one year 3 e-awards after being on the HP-proud list for the account with 3 projects. However - I do not got any pay raise, neither promotion, since I moved over.

I applied to a job with higher level/salary curves -several years ago - did the job for 6 years successfully - but never got the level/salary that should be associated with the job.

so no... it will not get any better - but for me- it can not get any worse neither. Hope to be out soon.
