I was interviewing yet again and trying to explain my work in helping Oracle build its Cloud Systems and was asked if Oracle uses Azure or Amazon as its platform for SaaS... either I am not explaining it right or no one knows anything at all about OPC. Is it really that bad? Oh well who cares - I am targeting to have offers by August - September. Good luck putting Oracle in your rear view mirror as they did to many 1000's of us...

It is better for our cloud that very few people know about it. Anyone who has had experience with it knows how unstable it is. With the exception of just a few acquired services (we haven't broken NetSuite yet), our uptime is horrible. Especially the Fusion Applications stuff. Those guys are in SO over their heads...
Well, yeah, because it is irrelevant
LOL. That's so true. When I did job searching, almost every company is looking for AWS or Azure experience. I have never seen one asking for Oracle cloud experience.
It uses the salesforce force.com platform. This is because Benioff owns Ellison. Now someone give me a job because I can't buy booze with calfresh.
