Neither Q or A are in th 2017 list. Sorry.
People who work in the Apple ASIC teams know that the work environment is awesome.
Great team mates. Best in the industry.
"Can do" attitude.
Reasonable work hours
Great pay and perks
Minimal BS and politics
Meaningful and challenging work.
It's hard to get in, so don't bother if you're one of the many at Qualcomm with no technical competence. Apple only hires great engineers.
Milliondollarshack.
Slave away for a decade to make incompetent Qualcomm management look good
then be unemployable and homeless in San Diego after I'm all burned out?
or making six figures in the bay area doing meaningful work?
Yeah. Tough call.
Not!

It's not about how big your house is.
It's about enjoying the work that you do.
Meaningful work and purpose beats the Q sh!thole any day of the week.
I wouldn't expect you to understand, toiling away in the Q sweatshop with totally clueless directors/VPs/principals.
