When we got furniture like sofas or chairs that were returned, we put them in our breakroom after 605 had scanned them out. When the microwave died, we just took another one off the shelf.
And the employees pretty much took whatever they wanted off the counter to eat. I am not mentioning all this just to be funny, but to point out that with employee morale at rock bottom, people just don't care anymore.
