Ok she made a boo boo naming names, why dog pile? FYI there are 4700 person who are categorized as " Petrotechs. The program was put in place during the good ol days to keep people from going across the street and commanding a higher salary. It applies all the way up to a PSG 27 and only for those on the US payroll. Started out with PE and then management in other disciplines qualified their people. Nice program if you can get it. As far as qualifying depends if you have a sponsor. They can make it happen if they want. How about an EE in Ops who qualifies as a Petrotech. Need more examples? Anyway life is not fair.
