I don't think that knowledge base will save anyone. Management has to realize that the loss of knowledge in the first place is a problem before they'd change tactics.
You have to have a team lead. The office associate will go away and the 2 positions will be combined. If the company is smart, they will make both associates apply for the one position that is created and the most qualified associate should receive the new position. Between the audit team and the invoice associates, that is way to much knowledge to let go, or move to the salesfloor!
Why restructure compliance?
There are tons of jobs open that are going unfilled right now. Hard to get talent with layoffs all the time.
Compliance was restructured last week take that into consideration.
I just wish they'd grow a set of balls and do it once and be done. Morale is at an all time low. Loyalty is gone. Ask any associate if their resume is current and you will get a definite yes. Ask a gold badge if it is current and you will get yes and uploaded on monster, indeed, LinkedIn and others. Knowledge and tenure used to be respected and celebrated. Now it is something to be hidden. I used to defend my company. Mr. Sam would be appalled.
Don't continually bad grass roots get managers fired?
NM4pABB-1lsg. grass roots used to mean something. not now, upper level, doesn't care it's more if a measure for discontent leading to possible union coming in. but as far as HO sorry they just don't care what the results are. if you've been around for sometime, when did you see anything change because of the survey?
I heard Ethics and Compliance yesterday.
I've heard that grassroots is going quarterly because that is what Jet.com does. Jet.com has been making ALL business decisions since being acquired by WM.
Right around the time of grass roots. Not smart.
