Its the typical story, TK used his legendary negativity to drive away the key managers. No wonder its a mess now.
Well, when oracle purchased BLUEKAI the data cloud was part & parcel to the DMP tools...oracle promptly split it apart upon acquisition and framed BlueKai data in with datalogix... now 2 1/2 years later they (the new wunderkind leadership...) figured out that they should have done the reverse and add the datalogix data TO the BlueKAI data and keep the DMP & data in the same unit while still being able to do their DaaS big push ...but alas they are sloths in the martech & adtech space and in this wake of bad decisions there has been an exodus of key talent and now the DMP BlueKai SaaS is antiquated and behind the times. It's just a mess.
I don't know what is worse. Oracle's cloud or IBM's. They are both absolutely terrible. Softlayer or Oracle cloud? It's all a joke.
