Director level and above were offered voluntary separation last month. Seems like now a similar retirement option will be offered to AD and SM level managers. Is this news true?

I spent 11 years with Cognizant and was working as a Senior Program Manager at Associate Director level. I was terminated from Cognizant In June with no severance package. This is compeletely inhumane on part of Cognizant to sack employee without giving any support or severance package.
why dont people effin leave aleady? who wants to be at a party where the host is dropping strong hints that he doesnt want you around? just move out with dignity for crying out aloud
