In the decade plus I have worked for AAP, our Distribution Center has often bragged that we have never had layoffs. That doesn't mean there is much investment and focus on improving the conditions for employees. The other side of that coin is that the workers have to show better attitude also.

6 let go in Delaware so far and more expected. Get out while you can this company definitely does not care about its employees. The BIG click in Delaware remains ! Corporate greed and s--- as!@$
If your DC hasn't been hit by the layoffs yet, it will. 6/19 - 6/21 is just the beginning. The margins haven't improved enough yet for the hedge fund and Pepsi people who can't stick with any strategy except cutting costs.

I am a CAM that got laid off and 2 CSM's in my region so far and a displaced RVP.
There maybe not be lay offs but 4 managers and 1 person from HR got let go from my dc today.
