Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Improve Customer Relationship Management Capabilities

I have worked for Allstate a little over a year in the call center.

Although I don't know of anyone that got laid off we too have felt the impact. The moral in the company has goon significantly down. this month alone over 22 employees have left to better companies and better pay.

From the customer view I get calls everyday from customers complaining about the low estimate received through QFC. Customers now see Allstate as a lazy company that are making customers do the work for them.

It happened to me a few years ago had to stay to get my 20 in that was before they screwed up the pension

Not surprised at all ~ I know two of the people personally. Believe one of them was an 'exceeds' employee almost every year and this is her 'Thanks!'. Sorry

Have witnessed this occur every 15 to 20 yrs since I began working there in 1973! Prior to my going out on disability, they had advised employees that they were dropping the top end of payscales and thus REDUCING salaries for those of us at that top pay point. Imagine working 40+ years and being told ur being overpaid and therefore ur losing several thousand $$ from ur annual salary?! A real slap in the face
