There is an overall plan to reduce real estate because so much is unused. It's happened everywhere. Just means more work at home. The mid year tool does not populate in the talent center till later in the month. Then everyone in the company has to have a completed review by August 14. Don't read into these things. It's the annual routine that has been in place for years.

Right. We shouldn't read into things. There are enough real worries to deal with at this point. Everyone is in high alert after multiple layoffs, which is rational. The lack of communication and transparency feeds this environment of speculation and anxiety.
It is unfortunate, but you are right, things change in business and not everything is ominous; it's human nature, of course, to try to anticipate the changes that will impact your life and family, especially when trust with leadership is nonexistent.
