Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

Sabre ruled! I could go in about 10 then do some shopping on amazon... go out for lunch about 12 for a few hours then left for the day at 3 to beat traffic. not to mention that nobody in my org worked on Friday. Lasted a good couple years!

I finally left bc there were just too many douchebags with massive egos.

Who wants to be associated to such a crap company so you must cut ties including former work friends.

The culture at Sabre is so fake that it's no big surprise your friendships were fake as well.

Not to mention these are the same people who would climb up your back just to get ahead.

Crawl back under your rock.

I left Sabre in April and will never look back. Concepts (can't call them products) developed for YEARS before actually being released. Lack of process. Lack of accountability. Lack of integrity and serious ethic concerns.

I heard rumors of a major layoff coming June/July.

Total failure from the top down.

Glad I QUIT that b---s--- company and got out before the big one coming in July. My manager was nice enough to give me a heads up about a big riff coming in July since I have a child who requires medical care so a layoff would be detrimental.

The culture is disgusting and toxic.

Sabre is a F---ED company!! They have no real business and American is about to pull out. There is no innovation at Sabre. Sabre has no legs in high growth regions like China so bye-bye.

Oh how true it is. I got laid off last year, I'm in a great job and out of the woodwork...people wanting to jump ship from Sabre, and asking if there are any openings where I am. Ha. Please. Most of them I wouldn't even answer. Maybe a select few.

Working for Sabre was a terrible experience.

This is just how sabre is. Used and abused mentality where there are no professionalism. Onced they milked your knowledge and then throw you to the trash.

Don't worry. Find a new job and soon you will hear from some of those Sabre people who are 1) Looking for a job, 2) Looking for a reference or 3) Needing your assistance because they got stuck with your old projects. Then you can choose to ignore them right back. Or not.
