How can Baker Hughes be paying people a few weeks ago and then be advertising for staff on there website? surely this is against the law?

it's no wonder they are losing work and contracts every month. sending out trainees. no experience left I hear.
I worked for them for 18 months a few years ago and left as no training, told to lie to clients about tools I had run that I had never even seen.
sent out on jobs with no paperwork , job decriptions, wrong heliports for Check ins , wrong tools when I got offshore and this was on almost every job..... I can't even imagine how bad it is now...
by far the worst company I ever worked with.

Aberdeen is in this mess cuz of useless management who made bad decisions and cost baker a lot of money and missed opportunities. The worst thing is nobody giv a ratsass. Worst company in North Sea.
It's gonna get a lot worse in aberdeen this is just the start to more job losses big pay cuts and fewer benifits. People will be pushed to accept less or get out as low wages becomes norm.
it's just bad in every way these days anyone still with a job in my office is looking for a job with someone better or just anyone as so sick of the way your treated .

minimum staff so will end up offshore 3 weeks out of 4 which is no life.

The best thing for baker Aberdeen is to roll over and die. It's a deep mess and no hope of getting out of it this time. Bad management by people who don't know what they're doing.
No staff left to do any work. paid of more than 50% last few years with some departments down to a few guys. so only need a few jobs on and no one to do the work.
