FY2018 kick off cancelled

So the kick off is cancelled - it will be done virtually, but who cares about some remote BS. What to make of this?

Every company that has a field sales force brings sales people together at the end of the fiscal year to celebrate and to kick off the new year. That oracle is no longer doing it tells you all you need to k ow about the future of the oracle sale force. 1. The 3 Stooges don't care to spend the money on such an even. 2. The future of the oracle sales force is remote - no more field sales, thus no need for sales events.

Thank you all for your involuntary contributions to the SC & MH bonus plans, they couldn't have done it without your sacrifices.

My base salary never changed in 10 years, though I served actoss three roles in 3 areas of the biz.

'Never got a raise EVER.

About 4 years ago, quarterly incentive comp started being nickel & dimed downwards. The next year or so, car allowances were clawed back (400-560 a month used to be avg).

Then shortly thereafter, it was announced that home office expenses were being hacked back, including the news that we would be paying for our own internet access. Soon after the quality of travel/lodging selections have pared to some very tacky choices via Travel..and if you are a road warrior, that is not going to be acceptable for long.

Its a swirly right now so try to stay out of the eddy or better yet, find a better place to serve/grow and prosper. 'Saddens me to say so.

I am they did. Never learned much and don't want to get away from family.

Reduction in Base salaries will be next.....

Cost cuts won't stop there.
