Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

CSA V - use your sick time!

Hey, well considering that all the fuqery so far has been instantaneously placed on the ASMs who were let go and additionally to the DMs who didn't get the Service/Support positions I think it's only fair that all of us CSA V's that have sick time saved up from our years of hard work and dedication should be used to the fullest before January comes. That being said. Lowes policy for sick time does say we're only allowed to use that 40hrs/5 days in a rolling 12 month period, but I've seen many of store managers and HRs who've quit in years past go on personal leave so they could use all of their sick time before being let go/quitting. Does anyone here know what the process is to do such a thing? It wouldn't qualify as FMLA because ReedGroup uses a different account to take from when paying FMLA, this type of leave would have to qualify one to use up their sick time. Any information would help not only myself but anyone else who's interested in giving the finger back at the man before our time comes!

Use it if ypu have any. I was laid off and lost 240 sick hours.

I am using all mine up in a month. Getting a surgery I was going to hold off on now I will use it all up. That is FMLA approved use of sick time. My way of exhausting all benefits I have left. Come Jan I will leave nothing on the table. Even when I come back after for the remaining 5 months or so If I accumulate more sick I will call out.
