Our ADAs keep bringing in Media Arts and Game Art students. Their gullibility is such a target. They need to go to a trade school so they can pay for all the video games they like playing.

The film industry is a small niche in the grand scheme of careers; saying Games is a larger industry (more profitable) isn't saying much...
And there are far better schools to attend if one has the talent to make it.
You clearly have no knowledge of the job market for entry level people. It is much more competitive and very few of the grads have the talent needed.
The game industry is larger than the film industry and just as demanding, usually an MFA/MBA in something. If you have talent it is worth the risk.
