Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Unions

Unions are as strong as the will of the employees that are Union members.

The sad fact is the majority in "middle class professions" have been convinced that they don't need unions or that unions are evil.

PCS members did try to take action at HPE DWP Account. It fell flat because most people, the unionized and gutless members, just carried on working.

DXC is just turning into a white collar sweat-shop for IT instead of cheap clothing.

Exactly, people are just being treated very badly.

So much anti-union legislation makes it difficult to get things going. That, together with worker apathy about their conditions and a fear of losing their jobs, just gives these scum bag Y(w)ank companies carte blanch to do what they like.

I just hope I live long enough to see the people take back some control, but I fear it will never happen!

Have a look at this:

After this, CSC was no longer afraid of unions
