Good to know that the moronic behavior of the internet is not lost on Banking professionals. Anonymity holds such perfect conditions for insanity to breed. Chase provides a 45 day notice, severance package, and usually does a decent job of helping associates find a new internal role. If YOU don't take finding a new spot seriously, they won't either. If YOU didn't perform in your last job, and don't have references, they won't have much to work with. Just keep in mind there are 100 people waiting to replace you at any given time. The person that posted the last comment should be ashamed, whether trolling or serious.

It doesn't matter if you've been there 10 years. If you aren't the best or if your job doesn't exist anymore, tough. This happens at all companies. You can't work for a company that is out of business or bankrupt. This is economics in action - markets adjusting.

Sounds like a lot of people are confused about why they were laid off. Layoffs happen to resize the business - default mortgage is shrinking, the company doesn't need as much manpower in that dept anymore and everyone has 45 days to apply to other depts internally.

I'm disappointed to have been one that was laid off. I can't understand how they picked who would go. I want performance based. One team have all relationship coordinators let go. Perhaps some will get an internal position. Rude after posting a 7 billion profit in second quarter. Is chase going out of the servicing business?

Phoenix is done, they just hit a bunch of people even after management said we were "safe". Worst part about it its, these crooks make record profit and revenue every quarter and have since they were bailed out by US the taxpayers yet still find the need to eliminate jobs because they want to outsource the work to the Philippines and India for even more money. Greedy f---s!
