The Pontiac building was a huge middle finger to the EDS employees way back when they first moved in there... tax breaks for EDS Corporate from Pontiac so the employees would be stuck paying city income tax. A big factory of sadness filled with shared cubes equipped with broken monitors and sketchy keyboards. Let's not forget the overpriced cafeteria, the only choice that wasn't driving distance (you really want to walk much in that area?) and big brother watching you come and go.

Security will be gone in September so does that mean the building will be emptied out? What does it mean for the contractors?
What does this mean for contigent workers under staffing with adecco/modis. They aren't being wfr'd. Cleaning house a little though like no part timers and usual turnovers. Since they aren't DXC employees the question is where they get moved. Another dxc location, new building, staffing house building, work from home. Considering many client contracts (service desks) are 2018 or 2019.
Most people are absolutely clueless. They don't even realize the clock is ticking and yet the parking lot is looking pretty weak on the dxc side.

That is correct. Everyone in Pontiac heard about the sale of the building from the media.

The lease that DXC has at Pontiac lasts until December. All the employees working there now will be slowly WFR'd, week by week, and by the time the holiday shutdown comes in December they will all be history :(

Time to clean that house of management. GM Account Leftovers were hiding in jobs and roles there. Some people are moving to GM but they don't have a clue what will happen to them if and when they move. GM is NOT selling cars. You can run but YOU can't hide. WFR is following all those folks with DXC after there name.
