Where is Intel's 10nm process?

This chip is also just as fast as a MacBook Pro.
My sides :)

@O3B5nWs-1kzb Bit the reality is Intel chips are bigger and more power hungry than competitors chips on inferior technology, funny how monopolies destroy thinking and performance
Managers see themselves as critical and Engineers are disposable and can be easily replaced. HR actively supported this view and now the results are being reaped.
TSMC and Samsung have better profit scaling.
We believe our 14nm has better area scaling than the 10nm processes from our competitors.
More like 2019
2nd half of 2018, OMG when do they go public with that. By all accounts they are still promising shipments this year, LOL
I fear this time not even BK and his brilliant side kick SS will save us from the house of pain.
iPhone 8 later this year on track to beat a MacBook Pro.
A phone beating a laptop with a fan!
My sides 😂
PYD home to the most arrogant technologist who are getting a can of whoop a$$
😂
As an ex-intel employee and a researcher/engineer, I saw it happening at 5 years ago. Yes, transistor seemed great in Intel at that time, but its performance was only better at typical corner (ideal case). In terms of transistor variation, tsmc had far better control. Any experienced engineer knows that you always design at the worst corner, not the typical corner. As a result, the cost in terms of power/area was actually higher in intel, and it only gets worse in more advanced technology. TMG leaders kept saying they had the best transistor and those folks ignored the research data in 2012, and now the whole world s showing them the reality.
PTD who? lol
Intel 10nm a cluster FUBAR that is so late when combined with 14 and 7nm situation Intel has passed the silicon leadership to TSMC and Samsung, sad times for PTD and TMG leadership.
