I worked with Rick Damron for years st Johnson city.tn lowes. This was when he was an aspiring manager. I'm sure he is still very smart and capable. However. I sold. My ridiculous slow moving stock years ago. These salaries are ridiculous when lowes keeps adjusting and getting rid of people. Stock will eventually tumble you all need to rethink your assortment of merchandise and your need for customer service. You go in some lowes stores and see no one!!! Bad

Not sure what you're talking about. When I started with the company 4 years ago the stock price was around $45.00, today it's at $75.00. I've had better returns than all 401K offerings available since I've been with the company.
They should quit pissing away money on Nascar. That is where most of the money is wasted,
Didn't Lowe's fire a lot of those people in corporate offices to save money?? hmmmm.. What is sad is upper management thinks store level employees are idiots. That we can't see how incompetent they really are

I wanted to buy some deck stain, figured I'd get it when I worked again, went to my Lowe's when next I worked only to find what I wanted to be out of stock. Kid in paint said they had been out of stock on it for a couple of weeks. Ended up going to the Lowe's on the west side of town, they had over 100 gallons in stock.
Management needs to figure out how to do schedules. During the day it's standing room only in the break room at night we have employees covering 3 and 4 departments. They are still expected to help customers, recover the departments, put away freight, pack down the departments, help with code 3's and 50's, pull Internet orders.
