Those saying they lost a asm are wrong. What asm did you lose Oxon hill?
At Oxon Hill, MD we lost our ASM & ELECTRONICS 2day, so text assured that it's real!!!
@1uzy. I think it depends on the store volume. I dont buy this will be a uniform decision for all stores.
Sears stores layoffs will come at the end of the month or early Aug. ASM's eliminated in Sears as well as any leads and commissions lowered.
lol you guys say haven't heard of layoffs only stores closing, stores closing is people laid off, the entire store laid off... duh....
you must be talking all about Kmart stores here at sears we have not heard of any employees getting a lay off unless you consider the closing of stores
There were several today I know of receiving, front end leads, Pantry, ASM, and AP positions.

So sad so many people are loosing their jobs except the ONE person who deserves it most EDDIE!!
as of right now I haven't heard of any layoffs just store closings, but sorry for those employees in those stores
Everyone. Kmart took the last hits so they will focus on Sears and consolidating some positions as Sears/Kmart, kinda like they did with the LP.AP positions.
