there is no way MD could trim the fat. nobody can proof where the fat is , the tech people are being slaughtered and handicapped here.
Bill and Melinda Gates are doing charity from the money earned from Microsoft. Meanwhile Microsoft has laid off thousands in Seattle when they were found useless and non productive. There were many in this group who had contributed to Michael's earnings. But the beneficiaries are AIDS patients and pharmacy companies .
In contrast Michael Dell is more altruistic as he is giving free money to his employees in NDC, MDC and BDC. In the words of BDC leader all these folks are getting their monthly SMS. That too without any substantial work. Dell is truly a saint. Why bother when money is flowing.
Michael Dell will be a great prez of a large non-profit organization such as Medecins sans Frontieres etc.. He has mastered the skill of giving.
Isn't it enough to know that Hopkinton 176 and 228 South st are doing nothing since the merge? How long do you think it will take for large layoffs to come?
