Why would you even want to come back, i can tell you already that the day you stop working for VZ you'll feel en enormous relief as if weight is lifted off your shoulders. I did; while i never complained and most of the time thought I liked working here.
If you come back, watch the timeframe before your return. You will have to pay back a percentage of the severance money if you come back too soon.
6 month wait period.
It's specified in your severance papers.
I've seen riffed people come back as contractors.
They won't hire you back because you already got a severance and there aren't going to pay it twice if you get what I'm saying
I would not go back to that nut shop of Finance in basking ridge.
Screw Verizon
You can. You can also make choice about whether to apply within and take a new job role with company or take severance. This is what I did because due to not being with the company that long I got more with a relocation package than I would have with my severance package. I stayed on and started fresh somewhere new. You always have options during a rif. Just know what will benefit you the most and also don't wait to apply because you will have a lot of people trying to fill those open spots all at once.
Yes you can after a 6 month waiting period, otherwise you would have to pay back any severance. Also there must be no clause in separation letter stating you are not rehireable.
This has to be a joke
Sure can! But why would you want to?
