I "cahnda" agree...
Wow, what a beatdown today. Glad I sold all my shares on the way down from 170 to 140.
On 9X normal volume, I wonder who was buying? Nearly 20M shares traded out of a total of about 74M means 27% of the stock changed hands today. I "cahn" think of someone who might be buying.
The Executives of this company fail to see the importance of having anyone employed that understands the automotive parts market. Only to find employees willing to take the meager amounts of low pay they have managed to offer, and using people "without" the experience has come back to bite them big time. Lets be honest, selling auto parts is not the same as selling snacks, people need help from talented people to make informed decisions when buying car parts, and only need a desire for the snack. The idiots that run Advance should be looking in the mirror now and realize they are no better then the other no talent morons they hired.
Karma kicked in for the leadership of AAP today! They have no one to blame but their greedy worthless selfs. So much lost and so much ignorance.... I doubt there is much hope for a turn around at this point.
Why would anyone think they should stay with this mess? Horrible industry reputation, treat people like crap, no clear direction, and bottom of the barrel leadership.
Are you stupid?
Even what's left of the -well respected CQ group can't save this ship. Good luck with your new employers.
With no direction, communication, career opportunities, and clear direction from people with limited to zero automotive aftermarket experience is this seriously surprising? Advance is the small player in this game. Face it. Decisions they made from a company focus down to employees they hired have paved this path for that company. Congratulations Advance on some great hirin practices with a horrendous turnover rate. Your poor culture and office politics are inexcusable and pathetic. Enjoy the result of your decisions and taking away company cell phones and cars. How'd that work out?
I'd say what the value per share of stock was when I left but I don't want to rub it in.
If you still work there and are still hoping for a fix good luck. Get the resume updated and move on. No stopping that ship from sinking.
Where's the guy who said sales increase when new car sales fall?
LOL! Keep drinking that corporate Kool Aid right until you're called into HR department. 😃😃
Shares down 22% as of this message.
What do you expect when the Supply Chain has no integrity and the same old song/ expectation of fixing it is just replayed? Just listen to the last few earning calls? What a mess maybe the supply chain leadership which on boarded without any automotive aftermarket experience be wired to win!!!
AAP Stock price is $87.57 right now, quite a drop for sure
