Thread regarding SUPERVALU Inc. layoffs

Layoffs don't surprise me anymore. With our outdated technology, no clear direction, and absolutely no accountability - especially on higher levels - it's shocking that they are not resorting to savings through layoffs more often. After all, that seems to be their answer to everything. Lost business to competition? Why would we figure out how to catch up to them when we can get rid of people. Bad quarter for SUPERVALU? You got it, get rid of people. I just wonder what will happen when there's nobody left to get rid off.
