Oracle COBRA Healthcare (UnitedHealth EPO)

My COBRA for United EPO, Dental, VSP = $805 per month for one person.

For the sake of argument, if you are under 40 and healthy and single, PPO is probably pretty excessive.

Yeah, when I got laid off in January, COBRA was too expensive, so I got Affordable Health Care coverage, and thank our Obama for that piece of goodness. I shudder to think what I'd get if the old, bad (or if Trump gets his way) future bad coverage would cost. ACA is pretty good and more affordable if you're younger, but you may need Oracle COBRA, which is Cadillac level care.

What are some of the alternative options for a family of 4?

It's always expensive because you pay your and Oracle's portion. Its not Obamacare ! Although you could try to get some of that

Thanks for sharing that. I have the PPO - just one person, so I assume mine will be closer to $1000 :(
