First I'm an investor. Next question does anyone care at Mattel. The stock price drops every day. Is there anyone with a pulse? This site has been helpful and ahead of the stock performance. An investment analyst recommend it. Thank You. This is the worst performing company period. Lawsuits are everywhere. Is there any level anyone would buy?

Just wait. in the next few months the reduction in office space is going to be staggering. watched greg walk around with the plans and he's looking at redesigning space and removing offices.
HTC? As in Handler Team Center?Didn't you hear? This place is such a dysfunctional embarassment that the Handler Foundation requested their name be removed from it. Now you know we've hit rock bottom. And as for TEAM, that stands for Together Everyone Abhors Mattel. True story, Holmes.
At the current rate of our stock plummetting, Mattel must lay off worker bees at such a rate that HR must staff up to keep up with demand. It's the only way they know to cut costs. Pretty soon the design center (oops, HTC) will be empty except for Ricky Dicky Tavi and the Tower will be a ghost town except for those wacky C-suiters. Who will be left to turn out the lights?
There is a plan I bet but employees will never be told what it is
Awww what eves
Everything here is RicDic-ulous. Margo, what are you waiting for? Purge that clown and all his useless flunkies. DownClown and GoodClown too. Truly talentless hacks. Parade them all out the door to the tune of deafening cheers!
Another day, another decline, another day of ricdick!
The plan couldn't be more clear.
Step One: Build our Power Brands into 360-degree connected systems of play and experiences.
Step Two: ???
Step Three: Profit!
When the stock hits $15, the activists will start. The reason that it's falling is that ...THERE....ARE....NO.....PLANS....to stop it. Barbie has nothing. Hot Wheels has nothing. Fisher-Price has nothing.
Both are wonderful examples of strong female leaders.
Let's remember that after the Jill Barad debacle the price of our stock fell to $6 per share. Prior to that dive the high was at $40...ebb n flow.
Who cares who wrote it. A completely clueless company on the verge of extinction, and that is why it's at 16.
I'm calling b.s on the o.p. being an investor as well. That aside, I'm curious what the stock is worth. I don't see the company succeeding for many reasons but there are some valuable assets that still reside under Mattel's roof. What price does the stock hit before some takeover occurs and the selloff begins?
Dear OP: You're not an investor. Investors don't ask questions like you did. They only ask about the numbers and the likelihood that they'll change one way or the other. You're a troll, and a pretty poor one, at that.
Jakks Pacific is up 2 pct today as Mattel is down 2 pct, so the universe remains balanced. Mattel is Sukks Pacific.
Is Mattel alive? Hmmm. Stock at $16.23. Forbes says NO. https://www.forbes.com/sites/brettowens/2017/08/19/3-dirty-dividends-to-sell-immediately
MattHell stock currently at $16.35, Holy Depreciation Batman!!!!!!!!!!!!! To the unemployment Cave Robin!!!!!!!!!!!
MattHell is finally in it's true death spiral as it has zero in the pipeline for the second half of the year. So much for DPCars saving the day, a line that used to bring in $350mm a year when it was reintroduced after being dormant for a full year after Cars first came out & was properly managed before the Design team was changed going into Cars2...........Thank you TK, killed the Golden Goose by trying to fix what wasn't broken.
How the mighty have fallen by flying to close to the sun with fake wax wings. Stupidity & arrogance has cost this once great Company dearly, may it rest in peace.
"attempting" to control S,G & A...that's a hoot...20 years on the board and 2 as CEO....
At least he was attempting to control SG&A in the right direction, it's gone through the roof under the new CEO.
Why don't you ask the Executive Chairman, former 2 year CEO and 20 year board member who, I would guess, steered the ship close to where it is today...I think the stock was at about 30 when the CEO before him was out, now its under 17...really s---s for the employees...
Buy put options on Mattel
A few more lower then expected EPS, a weak holiday, a bear market or correction, all these things could send the stock below $10. The company needs an absolutely stellar back half of the year to change the current downward trajectory.
Expect another dividend cut early next year. Could cut the price to under 10.
