Does anyone know if next week will target Solaris Dev and sustaining , as well as hw, or do they plan to stretch this torture out into next quarter?

ZFSSA was already hit recently, so now it's the turn of ServerOS only.
Many companies already know thru this site what might be happening at Oracle...
Looking for work when you are not employed puts a black check mark on you. My advice is don't wait. It's not worth the package, and you maybe able to negotiate a better comp deal with a new employer anyway.
Adrian C is amazon VP now. He wonders if solaris still exists in oracle and sparc cloud would be a miracle.
Adrian is a superstar in the Cloud now and making $millions. All because he left Sun, went to Netflix and then Amazon. If he stays at Sun/Oracle, he would be just a senior staff engineer.
Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Red Hat are all hiring good OS engineers. Look at Adrian C---croft. He was a Solaris dev and now he's an architect at AWS.
