Yep, all retailers have the same problem - that's the nature of our business. I am sorry for it but cannot change anything. I am back in school right now and I hope to become a book keeper, I hope that will give me more hours and better pay - but with 4 kids it's really hard on my husband and I.
Think thats a problem at all stores....was working 24 hours a week and most of us got cut back to 12 to 14...liked my job there just no stability
We only have one person working during the day and our second night person isn't coming in until 7 pm, we close at 10. So that doesn't give us much time for recovery and stocking, when it takes an hour or longer to do nightly closing manager duties.
Plus we have a serious shoplifting problem that we can't take care of with just one person!!!
Wow, same at my family dollar, person coming in at 7pm is ridiculous......corp dont care, they are the ones that make all the $$$, not us at store level!!!!
